I HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN POLITICS MY WHOLE LIFE. I HAVE BEEN A DELEGATE ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND ALWAYS VOTE. THE PROBLEM THAT I ALWAYS HAD WITH POLITICS IS THAT I SEEM TO BE FORCED INTO VOTING FOR A CANDIDATE THAT IS OK AND BECAUSE THE OTHER ONE IS 10 TIMES WORSE. THIS TIME IS DIFFERENT, OBAMA IS INSPIRING ME TO LEAVE MY POLITICAL CYNASISM AT THE DOOR. I TRULY BELIEVE THAT WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD!!! I AM TOTALLY AWARE OF THE LIMITS OF GOVERNING A PRESIDENT HAS BUT WITH THE STRENGTH AND SUPPORT OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE BEHIND HIM WE CAN GET THING DONE!!! OBAMA MIGHT BE THE LAST CHANCE FOR A LONG TIME TO REFORM OUR GOVERNMENT BECAUSE IF HE DOES NOT PREVAIL IN NOVEMBER THE MEDIA WILL USE THIS FAILURE TO SAY OUR GOVERNMENT IS FINE THE WAY IT IS NOW. THE MEDIA CONTROLS PEOPLE AND THEY DO NOT EVEN KNOW IT. THE MEDIA KEEPS RACISM ALIVE AND DIVIDES CITIZENS SO THEY CAN HAVE A NEWS STORY AT THE TOP OF THE HOUR. OBAMA WILL DO HIS BEST WHEN ELECTED TO BREAK THE CHAINS THAT BIND BRAINWASHED MINDS. GO OBAMA, YES WE CAN!!!

"rise of Obama"

like the rise of the Third Reich, the Roman Empire, Napoleon, Mussolini...

Interesting comparisons you're making, but I'm not sure Obama would appreciate it!

Barack Hussain Obama will self destruct by October at the latest. Every day he says something different.

Anyone here thinking "I TRULY BELIEVE THAT WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD!!!"
needs to get a grip. For 8 years you people have been saying we are less and less safe with Bush's policies.
PLEASE tell me what BHO's plan is? I have not seen it. It is not clear on his website. He has said NOTHING on how he would make us "safer".

GET A GRIP PEOPLE. The man is a danger to America and our security.

Nebulous plattitudes completley devoid of substance will sway the masses who live on feelings, and emotion. Thinking people are trying to coax some substance from the man and being labelled as bigots and racist for asking for specifics. This campaign and the ease with which the masses are persuaded are a great testament to the pathetic educational system in America. Where is the critical, thinking, logic, and actual debate,(not the media chosen questions)that should drive our decisions about our leaders? They have dissolved into emotion and sound-byte driven campaigns that leave us with the prettiest President, not the most intelligent or qualified,(never mind experienced). This countries' run is almost over. Just an interesting quote from the founding era, now that we are so close to the end: “War is an ugly thing but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feelings which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.” —John Stuart Mill

Barack Obama has inspired me by begetting himself as half white. He has shown me that he will forgive me for my whiteness. That although I am imperfect (i.e. white), I can still be forgiven for my sin by receiving Obama's message, because Obama is loving and compassionate.

Bitter losers. Why don't look at yourselves instead of blaming a society that currently showers entitlements upon your worthless, hysterical asses. Wah, I'm such a victim, give me more handouts! People like you are what keeps your race down. No one likes whiny irresponsible free-loaders. Useless morons. Oh, and I love how some of you pathetic children have to use ALL CAPS when you blog. Does that mean that you'll attract more of that attention you so desparately crave?

The Messiah is the Chosen ONE. He will stop the rising oceans and start to heal the ailing planet. He will make the poor comfortable, the weak strong, the sick healthy. The cripple will walk again and the STUPID will vote for His Highness.

What a joke YObama is.

Obama has yet to make any sense so do his supporters. All based on emotions and race. It's is very unfortunate that the first African American Candidate for President would have to be an empty suit. The Chicago Power politicians have groomed him and if he wins will be there puppet. The believers in the "one" unfortunately aren't thinking with their brains but only reacting to him with their hearts and dreams. Just as the disillusioned Germans did and flocked to see Hitler, who promised change. Too late did they realize just what kind of a can of worms they opened?

With all the great African American people that are active in Politics in America and would have made superb candidates, they would have to pick Obama. A travesty!

I wish Senator Obama was white at least I could criticize him on the issues without the race cart being played and thrown in as a red herring. These elections are a farce.

BTW: The United States colors are red/white & blue!

Not red/black and green

Honestly Obama is the the second greatest salesmen of all time i mean he sold hope, thats pretty impresive. the greatest was the one who figured out how to sell water, the most abundent resource in the world. my spelling may be terrible so im sorry for that. this does not mean that i don't support obama i just recognize his skill to captivate people through ethos and pathos mainly rarely using logos. its pretty god damn impressive.
