Racial agenda with Avatar?

Racial agenda?

Some of my students have asked me about this Avatar film that is being released in theaters later this month. It may or may not have a racial agenda but I'll look into it. A chief concern that an African actress in this film is transformed into a blue being who has a relationship with a blue being played by a white man.

Thank you for this blog!

It is the most brilliant parody of an empty-headed aging Marxist searching for racists under his bed that I have ever read.

And you've made this ridiculous character a teacher, too! Magnificent!

Satire has become an unappreciated art form.

You're priceless!

Bravo!

Please post a picture of a Huey Long type in a dashiki to complete the stereotype.

Truth First, I'm sorry that not everyone can acknowledge your intelligence and abillity to see past the white man's lies. They've fabricated a fantasy realm in which they are superior and the Africans are their slaves. Keep up you're great and noble work.

By the way, could you write an article on the racist message in the Dark Knight? That film is filled with hate I actually had to leave the movie theater. Thanks.

I tell you Red, Ive been a fan of this place ever sense your 300 post. We almost feel like neighbors.
But this is a bit much. Why do you seem to worried about the African lady, its pretend anyway. But I know your race's greatest fear is losing your reign on the women. Dating a white boy, or maybe not even caring about "history of her forefathers" And just caring about what she wants.

This blog and the entire site is pathetic. Crying racism because a black woman played a part in a fantasy film that required her to wear makeup and a costume in order to fit into the part she was portraying. Guess what, clueless one, if her costume was even remotely based on racism then she would've been the only one in such a disquise; inappropriate to the setting and storyline, but she wasn't, other castmembers were likewise in such makeup/costumes. If you had any level of intelligence you would see that it was only a costume designed for the fantasy film and nothing else.

The truth of the matter is...is that if it were a white woman that had been casted in the part you would be crying and complaining racism because they didn't cast a black woman. The administrators at 'truth first' (you all don't even know what the truth is) probably aren't happy unless your griping about something.

What you all need to do is stop crying "Woe is me" and get over it. Move on with your pathetic little lives.
